About Priyam Chaya

A legacy of quality, trust, and excellence since 1997

Our Journey

Priyam Chaya was founded in 1997 by the late K.M. Abdul Shukoor, built on one guiding principle: tea that tastes the same, every single time. Today his wife Laila and son Shakkeel run the business together, still blending every batch to his recipes. From our base in Kochi, we blend tea from Assam, the Nilgiris and Kerala for hotels, tea shops, families and private-label brands across India and the GCC.

We source the finest teas from plantations across India — Assam, Nilgiris, Kerala, and other premium tea-growing regions — and skillfully blend them to deliver a consistent taste, aroma, and color in every batch.

Our blends have become the preferred choice for hotels, tea shops, restaurants, and private label brands who value taste consistency and long-term reliability.

From a small tea venture in Kochi to a trusted supplier serving across India and the GCC, our journey is steeped in passion and quality.
